Nerds-R-Us

I do silly things like have "Math Challenges" with my kids.  Even when we are on break from homeschooling, I just find it super enjoyable to watch them put those thinking caps on.  And learning can be so much fun for them when it seems more like a game.

This morning I gave my son two challenges.  He did very well.

Challenge #1

Challenge #2

Today I feel like celebrating knowledge and education and the joy I have in homeschooling.

It's truly a blessing to be able to live the life I live.  To be a stay-at-home mom with two kids and homeschool them - not everyone is able to do that.  I am blessed with a Husband who works hard to provide for our family so that I can stay home and do the job that we believe God has called me to do.

And I'm super blessed to have two of the coolest kids on earth.  I love them so much!

  1. That is so cool. where were you when I was a kid? LOL! I can do that kind of math with ease. To this day, I can't do the addition and subtraction of money without a calculator. I am very embarrassed about that. Would have signed in with google, but not using the usual browser and don't remember my pw. - robin.

  2. Want to come over for lessons?? LOL! I'm just teasing you! ;-)

Math has always been difficult for me and I feel pretty certain that in a few years my son will be schooling me, ha!

Comments are nice, but rudeness is unacceptable.
