What Really Matters?

Have you ever asked yourself what really matters? Sit back and do that one day. Find a quiet place, take a seat, take a deep breath, and focus while you ask yourself that very question.

The thing is, when you really get serious and think about it, there isn't a whole lot that really matters. In fact, there are just a few key things that impact you enough in life to really, truly matter.

But once you know what those things are - once you've made the distinction - it's important to let others know. You don't need to shout it from the rooftops, but I think it is important to let people know what you stand for - what makes you tick - what it is that you will never give up.

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that really matter." ~Martin Luther

I'm not saying don't care about other things. There will be a lot over time that we care about. But the things that really matter will last.

God.

Family.

Yeah, my list stops there. I do care about more, but those two things are what matters. Those two things are what makes the difference in my life.
